Hey there, fellow strategists and business enthusiasts! Jazze here, and I'm thrilled to dive into a topic that's been a game-changer for me personally and professionally: the intersection of mindset, energy, and strategy in business execution. As much as we adore strategy on this podcast, I've come to realize the pivotal role mindset and energy play in the successful implementation of any strategic plan.

Just last month, I received a reality check from my husband. He likened my demeanour to a "pink skip penny stock" rather than a "blue chip stock." It was the wake-up call I didn't know I needed. Fast forward a few weeks, and we've not only added a significant chunk to our sales but have also transformed the way I show up in my business. Today, I want to share the pivotal shift in my mindset and energy that catalyzed this transformation and offer insights into how you can leverage your own mindset to amplify your entrepreneurial journey.

The Turning Point:

The catalyst for my transformation was a mindset exercise I've been practicing for years – the Self-Leadership GPS. Before engaging in any content creation, podcast recording, or client interaction, I began completing this exercise. The results were staggering. The energy I emanated changed, leading to a profound impact on my business. The strategy remained the same, but the execution had evolved.

Sure, strategy is the backbone of bringing people into our funnels, nurturing potential clients, and converting without the need for constant launches. However, it's the mindset that breathes life into these strategic moves. This realization prompted me to share two strategies with you, especially if you feel stuck, behind, or unsure about your business's trajectory.

1. Come Back to Your Centers

Understanding the impact of your unique human design centers is a game-changer. As someone with an undefined heart and solar plexus, I identified how I spiraled into unhealthy expressions – comparison, questioning my value, and people-pleasing. By recognizing these triggers, I transformed from a co-creator to a creator, taking proactive steps to stand in my own value and intentions.

I recently had a client share a similar experience. Her launch was a success, but certain conversations triggered a mindset spiral. With an undefined head center and solar plexus, she grappled with others projecting onto her and the unhealthy expressions of these open centers. Upon sharing these reflections, she felt seen and supported like never before. Understanding your unique centers empowers you to move into self-acceptance, self-compassion, and a curious mindset, crucial for problem-solving.

2. Embrace Curiosity

Curiosity is a valuable asset in entrepreneurship. When faced with challenges, approaching them with curiosity opens the door to vital information and solutions. For instance, low engagement on social media might not be as crucial as it seems. By redirecting focus to lead generation or tweaking messaging, you can address the root cause of the issue.

Being curious about your business and its challenges allows you to see beyond the surface-level problems. Sales conversations not converting? It could be a messaging problem. Low open rates on emails? Perhaps your list isn't aligned with your offer. Embracing curiosity enables you to uncover hidden opportunities and refine your approach to problem-solving.

3. Understanding Unhealthy Expressions:

A deeper dive into the human design centers reveals the impact of unhealthy expressions on your business:

  • Head Center: Overwhelmed with doubts and confusion, leading to incorrect actions.

  • Ajna: Anxiety about uncertainty, seeking external knowledge, and overthinking.

  • Throat: Forcing communication, acting impulsively, and feeling unseen.

  • Ego/Heart: Low self-worth, equating inner value with external achievements.

  • Solar Plexus: Avoidance of confrontation, people-pleasing, and fear of rejection.

  • Sacral: Overworking, not honoring boundaries, and inner dialogue of laziness.

  • Spleen: Decision-making based on fear, holding onto unhealthy relationships.

  • Root: Feeling the need to do everything now, addiction to stress, and rushing.

By recognizing and addressing these unhealthy expressions, you can come back to your body, cultivate self-acceptance, and approach challenges with a grounded, observant, and curious mindset.

Next Steps:

  1. Observe Your Centers: Reflect on your human design centers and identify any unhealthy expressions affecting your business.

  2. Acceptance and Curiosity: Embrace the natural flow of energy, accepting it as part of the human experience. Move into a grounded, observant, and curious state.

  3. Business Curiosity: From this new perspective, reassess your business challenges. Is there still a problem, or is it just your undefined root signaling a need for constant action?

As we navigate the dynamic world of entrepreneurship, let's not underestimate the power of mindset and energy. My journey from a "pink skip penny stock" to a thriving business owner is a testament to the transformative impact of coming back to my centers and embracing curiosity.
