Episode 99 - Tending to your nervous system will reap far more results than any ‘mindset’ work

 
 
 
 
 

A few weeks ago I had this Instagram Live with my incredible mentor @iamanakinkela about all things “Nervous system”

‘Nervous system work’ has completely transformed my life and business.

In fact, I went as far as to share my ‘unpopular opinion’

“Tending to your nervous system will reap far more results than any positive thoughts and ‘mindset work’ will (and this is important to keep in mind when investing in a mentor 😬)”

Mindset is great.

>>> Embodiment + nervous system knowledge and regulation is BETTER <<<

As Ana taught me - our nervous system is like a gatekeeper and it operates based on safety, *not* what we are consciously thinking.

Just because you consciously *know* that having more rest or investing in that mentor would be beneficial for your life and/or business, doesn’t mean that your nervous system won’t freak out about it. And when this happens, we close ourselves off to receiving more income.

… you can have the most incredible business strategies and mindset tools

… you can think positive thoughts and journal your little heart out

… you can meditate and visualise and create epic vision boards

>>> But if your nervous system doesn’t feel safe to receive more, then it won’t <<<

And this is something that I *wish* I knew much earlier in my business and why I will ONLY (emphasis on the caps) work with mentors who not only have an understanding of this, but are continuing to integrate this work and deepen their integrity and knowledge in this space.

This is also why I go deeper than just mindset in my experience too!
