Episode 88 - Healing the receiving wound to unlock your expansion with Ana Kinkela

Healing the receiving wound to unlock your expansion with Ana Kinkela

Today I’m joined by Ana Kinkela, a somatic business mentor and energetic alchemist for entrepreneurs, coaches, healers and creatives who desire to receive fully as they impact others deeply.

Ana began her career as a trauma therapist and now has over 10 years of experience facilitating trauma informed healing and expansion. In this episode, we explore some of that experience and dive into the role that the nervous system can play in our growth and achieving our goals.

Ana also shares some of the hurdles she’s faced growing her business, the challenges she’s overcome, and the lessons she’s learned along the way. Including, but not limited to, the joy and success found when she started showing up as her authentic self.

I absolutely loved having this conversation with her and can't wait for you to listen in. Enjoy!

Topics discussed and when to find them:

[3:15]: Ana explains how she works with high achieving women and helps them expand their businesses with the power of nervous system business growth. She supports entrepreneurs by helping them heal their receiving wound to see the expansion they desire in their business and life.

[4:30]: One of the main pieces Ana focuses on when working with her clients is creating the life they actually desire. It’s not about chasing the figure, but about allowing the ease to flow in the business you’ve created.

[6:45]: When we’re focused on the external outcome, we get disconnected from the meaning of it. When you’re connected to your body and nervous system, you’re in a much better place to tune in to what’s needed.

[8:30]: Being achievement focused isn’t bad in and of itself. We need to have it as more of a passenger as to have the essence of your body and soul as the main driver making decisions.

[11:45]: Ana talks about integrating new levels of growth and understanding the edges of growth and pleasure. Burnout happens when we are reaching the tired edge over and over again.

[14:50]: How the edge shows up differently for everyone. Tiredness, lack of clarity, anxiety, fear etc. It’s about finding where you feel stretched and discovering how your body wants to be tended to in that space.

[17:00]: Integration is one of the most powerful things you can do when you meet the edge within yourself. Let the energy drop into your body and let it become the fertile soil for the next level of expansion.

[18:30]: Ana shares her visualisation of anchoring into her root center to expand.

[19:30]: Check out my new Unstoppable Program

[22:15]: We over strategize in business. It’s more about the application of the strategy with your unique energy and how you are showing up within yourself.

[25:25]: How well we execute strategy is all mindset, attitude, embodiment and how you’re showing up. Whatever feels easiest in your body is what will work best for you.

[28:30]: This space isn’t logical. It’s not based on a formula but it happens through the wisdom of your intuition and your body.

[29:30]: Having a healed receiving wound is being able to hold your bigness and feel safe in it.

[30:40]: Ana shares advice to people who are stuck in their head. Allow yourself to get into the practise of dropping into your body and asking it what it desires to have. Build a relationship with your body. Be patient with yourself and do it a little bit at a time.

[33:30]: Where to find Ana.
