Let's talk about something that's been weighing heavily on my mind lately - how to *actually* speak to your ideal clients in 2025.
And when I say "speak to," I don't mean the surface-level stuff you've been seeing all over Instagram.
I mean the kind of deep understanding that has your conscious, heart-led clients sliding into your DMs saying "Are you in my head right now?"
Because here's the truth that nobody's talking about:
An AI prompt isn't going to save you if you're asking it to write content about "overwhelm" when your ideal client is actually lying awake at 3am wondering if they're crazy for wanting both ambition AND alignment.
An AI prompt isn't going to save you if you're still using the same ideal client profile from 2023, when your dream clients have been transformed by a year of AI revolution and a shift in buyer behavior.
The Shift to an "Aquarian Economy": Why Deep Understanding Matters More Than Ever
As we move into this "Aquarian economy" that I've been speaking into (particularly in my 4-part Future Proof Your Business series from late 2024), this understanding becomes crucial.
People are craving community and connection more than ever before. And the first part of community building? It's connection - creating the kind of resonance with your message that makes people unable to resist joining your movement.
A Real-World Example of Evolution
Let me share something powerful from my own business that illustrates this perfectly.
Between my last launch of Constantly Converting By Design (October 2023) and our upcoming March 2025 cohort, you know what changed the most?
It wasn't the tagline.
It wasn't the core promise.
It wasn't even the framework or methodology.
The biggest shift?
The emotional resonance piece. The specific experiences we speak to on the sales page and in our content.
Why?

That's infinitely more compelling than another generic "here's how to get visible as a Projector" post that my ideal clients have seen countless times before.
It demonstrates deep understanding of the conflict between different pieces of advice and shows I can both see and solve their unique challenges.
The Hidden Cost of Assumptions in Business
Here's something crucial: Assumptions kill your income.
If you assume people don't read your emails and stop sending them during launches - when your data actually shows that every buyer has read most of your emails - you're sabotaging your nurture and conversion strategy.
Similarly, making assumptions about your ideal clients' problems and their daily impact will hurt your conversions. If people don't see themselves in your content, they won't engage with it.
A Case Study in Understanding vs. Assuming
Let me share a perfect example from one of my CCBD clients.
She came into the program planning to create a 1:1 package focused on creating harmony in life and business.
As a Manifesting Generator, she naturally had multiple skill sets spanning business growth, nervous system work, and human design.
But after going through our ideal client interview process, she completely pivoted.
Her offer transformed into helping clients craft offers that integrate all their modalities.
Why?
Because when she actually talked to her dream clients, she discovered what they really wanted was support in creating aligned offers that honoured all their modalities and multidimensional experience.
The best part?
As a Manifesting Generator, this pivot lit her up because she was a FUCK YES to this offer (and as a sacral being, if you're not turned on by your offer, nobody else will be). But she never would have discovered this without those real conversations.

Let me show you what I mean by the difference between surface-level understanding and true resonance:
Surface Level: "You feel stressed and emotionally reactive during the day."
Deep Understanding: "You're struggling to wear multiple hats - the mom hat, the employee hat, the wife hat. Nobody prepared you for how much you'd need to manage, and you're sick of being peddled another meditation practice that requires more time you don't have."
Surface Level: "You want more consistent income in your business."
Deep Understanding: "You've invested in other programs and mentorship, but consistent conversions still feel out of reach. Some months you hit your income goals, others leave you questioning everything. You're showing up consistently, creating content, making offers... but the results feel sporadic at best."
Surface Level: "You want work-life balance."
Deep Understanding: "You want to build strong foundations now so your business can thrive through future life changes, like starting a family, without sacrificing your income or wellbeing."
3 Transformative Questions for Deep Client Understanding
Here are three powerful questions I teach my clients to ask (which form part of our bigger ideal client interview process):
1. "What's your biggest challenge when it comes to [your topic]?"
This opens the door to what's really keeping them up at night
Example response: "I understand my Human Design type but struggle to translate it into practical, profitable business strategies."
2. "How does this challenge affect your daily life?"
This reveals the emotional impact and ripple effects they might not even realize
Real client quote: "I feel like I'm sacrificing no matter which way I approach things and this makes me feel like I shouldn't be in business."
3. "What have you tried before to solve this?"
Shows you what they're tired of hearing and what's missing in the market
Common response: "I've invested in purely strategic business programs that burned me out, and purely spiritual guidance that didn't create reliable income. I need both."
Pro tip: I prefer live conversations over Instagram polls or application forms because they give you the opportunity to ask clarifying questions and really peel back the layers of their experience.
