$30k in sales while offline for 2 weeks. Here’s how.

During our company’s Christmas / New Year break, we received over $30k in sales. I know I sound like a broken record on this, but the purchasing cycle of our buyers has changed significantly in the past two years. It means we need to be on the front foot to shorten that cycle by nurturing potential clients over a longer time period.

Last week, I shared with you our primary focus for this year: doubling our monthly recurring revenue through the nurturing funnels we've created. And let me tell you, we're off to a banging start!
Over the Christmas period alone, we generated over $30,000 in NEW sales. And as of this recording, that figure has soared to over $40,000. Needless to say, I'm thrilled to dive into the mindset and business strategies that contributed to this result.
But beyond celebrating our achievements, I want to delve into why I believe a long-term nurturing strategy is not just beneficial but essential for your business.
We've observed shifts in buyer behaviour, with purchasing cycles becoming more intentional and longer. However, what I don’t want is for us to see what things are changing but not actually do anything about it. Because the truth is, we have the opportunity to actually shorten these buyer cycles by having a long-term strategy to nurture and convert clients consistently and over the long-term.

The Power of Trust Funnels
Let's talk about trust funnels—a concept I've been creating and testing throughout 2023 and now in 2024. As buyer decision-making processes evolve, we have to adapt our strategies accordingly. The trust funnel emerges as a potent tool in our lead generation and sales arsenal for 2024 and beyond.
Essentially, a trust funnel serves as a conduit for nurturing prospects, providing them with valuable insights, education, and experiences related to your offerings. It's about allowing them to immerse themselves in your world, gaining a deeper understanding of your expertise, teachings, and values.
Reflecting on our recent new client sales, it's clear that these individuals came from various touch points and engagements.
In the episode, I share with you exactly where the $30K in new sales comes from and each of the “touch points” these clients had in the lead-up to that sale.
The $30k in sales consisted of 4 people joining Neon and 1 joining Constantly Converting.

1 Neon client had a discovery call and followed me on social media for an extended period.
1 Neon client worked with me in a short term 6 week 1:1 container that I sold behind the scenes and then ascended into Neon.
What is the 1 thing all of these clients had in common?
TOUCH POINTS. There was a way for me to build trust with them over a period of time.
So I want to chat about the mindset, strategy and execution side of this so you can take this into your own business.
Embracing the Long Game Mindset
Alright, let's kick things off with a mindset shift that's bound to shake things up – playing the LONG GAME. You see, in a world where everyone's chasing after shiny objects and instant gratification, we're taking a different route. We're all about playing the long game, my friends.
Picture this: you're building trust funnels, right? You've got these three phases mapped out, but here's the kicker – most folks bail after phase one. They think that because someone has downloaded a freebie and they don’t then go onto buy, that they’re “lost”. In my world, this is where our work is just beginning!
Instead of chasing that quick fix, we're all about reflecting on our buyer's journey. Where do they come from? How do they behave? Once we've got that down, we can start switching gears from short-term baby CEO energy to long-term, high-powered CEO vibes and creating a long-term strategy to capture and convert.
Quick reminder and affirmation: You're a long-term business owner making long-term decisions. Your clients love paying you now and over time because you've got the strategies to support their buying decisions. Boom!
Strategy: Touch Points and Trust
Now, let's talk about strategy.
So, what's our go-to move? We're all about sending folks to that top-of-funnel offer that's gonna knock their socks off and create a transformation for them right outta the gates. Whether it's a freebie, webinar, or a low-ticket offer.
Why? Well, for starters, we're way more likely to snag that email address than if we sent 'em straight to the offer page. Think about it… if you’re sending everyone to the offer page but they DON'T buy, how do you capture that lead? You don’t! You get a statistic on your google analytics to say that someone visited the page but you haven’t captured that person anywhere. If you send them to a top of funnel offer instead, they’re more likely going to opt in for whatever that thing is!
Plus, they're more likely to invest again if they've already gotten some serious value from us.
So, here's the deal – start paying attention to those email addresses. Throw out some CTAs to a freebie this week and see how many conversations you spark (I like to get in touch with people who have opted in for something just to connect. I speak about this more in the episode!).
Execution: Making It Happen
Last but not least, let's talk about execution. Your business needs to run like a well-oiled machine, even when you're sippin' on margaritas by the beach. And guess what? It's totally doable.
